What being on the team looks like.
Build season runs on a fixed deadline, so members work as part of a real team: showing up consistently, following shop safety rules, and picking up skills from teammates and mentors as you go. Open to Barrington High School students in grades 9 through 12.

No. Every discipline except Software takes members with no prior experience, and training is provided.
Only if you want to join Software, which requires Java. Every other discipline has no programming requirement.
Yes. The team is open to Barrington High School students in grades 9 through 12.
Business and Media are full disciplines on the team, not side roles. They handle sponsorship, operations, communications, photography, and storytelling.
Preseason is one meeting a week for an hour and a half. During build season it steps up to three weekday meetings of an hour and a half each, plus Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
Applications are open to Barrington High School students from 1 August to 1 November each year.
